Bareilly: Extensive preparations have been completed in Bareilly for the smooth, transparent, and fair conduct of the Uttar Pradesh Joint B.Ed Entrance Examination 2026, scheduled to be held on May 31. A high-level coordination meeting involving district administration officials, university representatives, and examination centre heads was convened to review all arrangements and ensure seamless execution of the state-level examination.
The meeting was chaired by Additional District Magistrate (City) Avinash Tripathi, who has been designated by the District Magistrate to oversee examination-related arrangements. The review was conducted under the leadership of District Coordinator Professor Yatendra Kumar. Also present were Harish Chand, Registrar and Nodal Officer of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, and Professor S.K. Pandey, Nodal Coordinator of the university’s nodal centre.
The Uttar Pradesh Joint B.Ed Entrance Examination is being conducted across the state by Bundelkhand University, Jhansi. During the meeting, university representatives briefed officials on examination protocols, confidentiality measures, security arrangements, and operational procedures. Special emphasis was placed on maintaining transparency, discipline, and the integrity of the examination process.
Addressing the gathering, ADM (City) Avinash Tripathi highlighted the crucial responsibilities of static magistrates, centre representatives, and observers. He directed all officials to ensure strict compliance with government guidelines and to maintain a secure and candidate-friendly environment at every examination centre. He stressed that candidates should not face any inconvenience and that all administrative and security arrangements must remain fully functional throughout the examination.
The meeting was attended by District Inspector of Schools Dr. Ajit Kumar, Regional Higher Education Officer Dr. Sudhir Kumar, District Basic Education Officer Dr. Vinita, along with other administrative and educational officials, observers, centre superintendents, and university representatives.
This year, a total of 5,561 candidates will appear for the examination in Bareilly district across 13 designated centres. Of these, six centres have been established within the campus of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, three in Bareilly city, and four in Faridpur.
The six university campus centres include the Departments of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Law, MBA, Pharmacy, and the University Examination Building. The remaining centres are located at prominent educational institutions in Bareilly city and Faridpur to facilitate smooth conduct of the examination.

The entrance test will be conducted in two sessions on May 31, 2026. The first paper will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, while the second paper will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Candidates have been advised to reach their respective examination centres by 8:00 a.m. Entry to examination halls will be permitted only up to the prescribed reporting time, and late arrivals will not be allowed to appear for the examination. Authorities have urged candidates to carefully follow all instructions mentioned on their admit cards and maintain discipline throughout the examination process.
Concluding the meeting, District Coordinator Professor Yatendra Kumar thanked all administrative officials, university representatives, observers, and examination personnel for their cooperation. He called upon all stakeholders to work in close coordination to ensure that the Uttar Pradesh Joint B.Ed Entrance Examination 2026 is conducted with complete transparency, efficiency, and fairness.
The district administration and university authorities expressed confidence that the extensive preparations and coordinated efforts would help ensure a smooth and successful examination for thousands of aspiring teachers across the region.
